Ace Your Future's consultants can meet with you by appointment:

b. at your home or library within a 30-minute radius of the Huntington Atrium,
c. online between 11am EST and 10pm EST most days of the week.
Ace Your Future's lead consultant empowers teens to ask questions of several particular data sources- both school provided and consultant provided- to verify admissions odds, finalize, and order a college list of 6-12 schools. This proprietary process refines each applicant’s decision-making process, research skills, personal voice, communication skills, values and identities, career exploration, planning, and time management skills. Applicants often learn how to think for themselves too!
After an initial assessment as to whether the SAT or ACT is a better test choice, Ace Your Future recommends particularly outstanding Test Prep series and providers. However, if the applicant just needs help with the English Language Arts sections, Ace Your Future will happily provide that tutoring ourselves.
Ace Your Future staff always consider merit aid during the college list building process. Our lead consultant also helps families with filling out the FAFSA and CSS Profile financial aid forms. In addition, she collaborates with school counselors on scholarship applications. In addition, we frequently refer families that own businesses and or multiple property shares to specialized financial aid advisors. Additionally, if your family qualifies, we will direct you to special, free, programs for the lowest income families.
Yes! Do something proactive and positive, such as volunteer in your local community, work at a local business or clinic, try some potential new hobbies, learn how to conduct research, strengthen your skills and friendships, etc. Visiting colleges when most students are away is not the most ideal solution however. If you're curious about which on-campus summer programs are beneficial, let's talk! as that is one of our lead consultant's particular areas of expertise!
You should schedule a free consultation with Ace Your Future:
1. a month before you need to choose classes for next year (starting in 6th grade!),
2. while you are thinking about potential summer plans (which might need to be in October nowadays!).
3. after you've introduced yourself to your high school counselor and found out how much they can or cannot help you,
4. when you discover that there are no school clubs of interest,
5. when you discover that the school clubs you joined only seem to meet for an hour or two a week or even month(!),
6. when you realize that you would love to try out science research / math research / historical research / public policy research, but discover that you cannot do so through your school,
7. when your 11th grade ELA teacher assigns the first draft of your Common App personal statement,
8. when it is July 1st before 12th grade,
9. after the Common App opens on August 1st of 12th grade,
10. when your school counselor and or ELA teacher suggest improving your draft Common App personal statement,
11. when your early application(s) gets deferred,
12. when you have questions about college admissions or career exploration that your school counselor or advisor cannot address in a timely manner.
